About Ted

Since childhood, Ted has had a strong interest in art and photography and became passionate about stereoscopic or "3-D" photography soon after acquiring his first stereo camera. He now owns over a dozen.

After graduating from Pratt Institute, Ted enjoyed making his living as a freelance illustrator. Years later, the new media industry beckoned and in 1998 he co-founded Bitflip, a firm specializing in elegant and original digital media solutions.

In 2005, he decided to go out on his own again, mixing web consultation work with other interests such as underwater photography and fine art painting.

Currently, Ted is heading the digital media division of yet another start-up operation. The new company is the advertising and marketing arm of Next Street, a Boston-based merchant bank providing Wall Street-quality advice and financing to inner city small businesses nationwide.

Ted went on his first SCUBA dive in 2001. Full certification followed in 2004. Since then, city life has just seemed like the time between dive trips.

Ted currently lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn (and loves it).
